I finally finished one of my new designs.....the vintage postcard kitty kat ...... this is only my second one I have made.....she is done in the taupey-brownish colors that I love so much.  She has the swivel head and is wire armature.

Got some flowers this weekend........

 One of my things on my "to do list" was to  go to the garden store and pick up some beautiful flower baskets to spread around my homestead...... thought I would share some images....(above) found this old salvaged wood post at a flea market (yup...got it for $10 bucks!)  and had hubby mount one of my birdhouses on it to put in the landscape......LOVE!

 Finally found time to put some flowers in my old chippy galvanized metal watering can....

(above) See my really cool colorful metal art rooster in the gardenscape?  I got him last summer while out treasure hunting.....This year I want to find a cool metal art piece to put in my pond....perhaps a flamingo or pelican type bird.......

Lazy Summer Days

I have a rare Brindle Boston Terrier dog with his old dolly buggy..... now available on ebay.... a 5-day auction(because of the Holiday weekend) with NO RESERVE...

I just love the way this piece turned out....the colors on this found old wood dolly buggy inspired my color pallete choice for the dog and his outfit ;)  Reminds me of the upcoming summer season with the old pale blues, creams and pinch of old red!  And I can't remember the last time I made a brown color boston terrier in a cabinet size.....this guy has lots of details...right down to the tiny vintage button with remnants of old red material attached to the front of his handmade romper......such an adorable set ...and I know you won't be disappointed in it!

Got My Chucks......

and I LOVE them!  My new converse Chuck Taylor slip sneakers that is........  I have been wanting to get a pair of these slip on sneakers in a gray color (because they match everything)  for a long time and I finally got them about 3 weeks ago....got them all broken in now too!  I wear them to my studio everyday .... perfect with shorts & capri or rolled up jeans.... pretty much everything.

The first pair I ordered mens 4.5 because I am 6.5 size shoe....BUT I had to return them and get a smaller size..... I got mens size 4 and they now fit perfect.  So if you decide to get a pair just make sure you go down a half size because they do run bigger.  Oh, I had no problems returning them.....got my shoes within a couple days after I placed the order too!

Now I am all ready for the outdoor festivals and antique shows this summer!!!   So go get your CHUCKS!!!!!

Snug as a Bug in a BED!!!!!

This is how we pretty much sleep every night.  I guess my husband took an early morning photo of me & Zoey still sleeping.  We actually have a king size bed but I just happen to see that I am ALWAYS pushed to the very edge of the bed because my little cuddle bug gets smack in the middle (or should I say on my side of the bed)....LOL just like a person.....body under the covers and head out!  She usually starts out the night all the way under the covers pushed up against me or my husdands side.

Is this normal???  HAHAHAHAHA..... do you have a little cuddle bug that sleeps in bed with you too ?????
